Switch to SoloInc

Switching providers should create a clean starting point

A transition is not only moving a bookkeeping login. SoloInc needs to understand what is current, what records exist and whether routine compliance can begin without hiding unresolved work.

What this can mean for you

These are the practical signs to raise early, before a routine item becomes an unresolved year-end issue.

  1. 01

You do not know whether all returns and annual filings are current.

  2. 02

The prior provider has records, access or unanswered questions.

  3. 03

The books do not agree to bank and credit-card activity.

  4. 04

You want a predictable ongoing model but need clarity on historical cleanup first.

How SoloInc handles the routine

SoloInc keeps ordinary compliance moving for eligible corporations. The owner provides complete records and answers the questions that need context.

01

Review fit and current status

SoloInc starts with eligibility and an overview of the corporation’s records, registrations and known filing dates.

02

Request the useful handover record

The transition focuses on filed returns, financial statements, bookkeeping data, corporate records and outstanding correspondence needed for continuity.

03

Separate cleanup from ongoing work

If catch-up or correction work is required, SoloInc identifies it before the subscription begins. Routine service starts from an agreed, supportable point.

Clear boundary

When this needs a closer look

SoloInc identifies the issue, explains the next step, and agrees separate specialist work before it begins.

  • Overdue or materially incomplete books and filings.
  • A CRA review, audit, dispute or material correction.
  • A change in ownership, complex cross-border matter or other fact outside the standard model.

Common questions

Q.01Do I need to organize everything before I ask?

No. The point of the initial review is to establish what exists and what is missing. You should provide the available records honestly; cleanup is assessed separately if needed.

Q.02Will SoloInc contact my prior accountant?

Once the appropriate authority and instructions are in place, the handover can be coordinated for the records needed to establish continuity.

Q.03Can I move if the books are behind?

Possibly, but historical cleanup is not included in the recurring subscription. It is identified, scoped and agreed before ongoing service begins.
