Who this policy covers
SoloInc is a service of Teplov CPA, operated by Alex Teplov, CPA. This policy explains how information submitted through soloinc.ca is collected, used and protected. As a CPA firm, Teplov CPA is also subject to professional confidentiality obligations under CPA Ontario standards, which apply alongside this policy.
Information we collect
The eligibility checker runs in your browser. Its answers are stored temporarily in your browser’s session storage so they can be carried into the eligibility-review form without asking you to enter them again. The checker does not transmit those answers by itself. They are transmitted to us only if you continue to the review form and submit it, and the temporary browser copy is cleared after a successful submission or when the browser session ends.
The intake form on the eligibility review page collects the details you enter, including your name, email address and information about your corporation. It is transmitted to us through Web3Forms, a third-party form-processing service. Do not include passwords, SINs, banking credentials or tax documents in this form.
If you email us directly, we receive whatever information you choose to include in that message.
Analytics and cookies
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies to measure visits and site usage. Information about your use of the site is sent to Google. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
How we use your information
Information you submit through the form or send us by email is used to respond to your inquiry, assess eligibility and, where an engagement proceeds, to provide accounting and tax services. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Web3Forms processes form submissions solely to deliver them to us.
If an engagement begins, further documents and information are handled under the engagement terms and Teplov CPA's professional confidentiality obligations, not under this website policy.
Data retention
Email correspondence related to an inquiry that does not proceed to an engagement is retained only as long as needed to respond and close out the inquiry. Client records are retained for the minimum period required by applicable professional and regulatory standards.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting us at hello@soloinc.ca. We will respond within a reasonable time.
